Emergency Funds

Graduate School Emergency Fund

If you are experiencing emergencies or unexpected financial hardships–related to family reasons, academic reasons, medical emergencies, accidents, emergency travelling, and more–you may request financial assistance from the Graduate School Emergency Fund Program (GSEFP).

The GSEFP was established by the Graduate School, the Alumni Board of Directors, and the GSG to financially assist graduate students with emergencies or financial hardships outside of their control through small, short-term, and non-interest University loans.

More information about the GSEFP can be found here.

International Student Emergency Fund

The International Student Emergency Fund was established by alumni and friends of the University to assist international students who may face unexpected hardships, such as the death or illness of an immediate family member, a personal injury or accident… These situations can be especially challenging when students are far from home.  This fund was established to provide some relief.
